Heart Attacks: Nigel Ieraci was lucky to survive

An inspiring chat with Nige about the big challenges he has faced over the past 5 or 6 years and particularly how even the doctors are amazed he wasn’t killed by the heart attack he endured, which included a full blockage of the LAD (widow maker).

We talk about his divorce, his kids, the new love of his life and how none of these setbacks have stopped him from competing in Ironman triathlons with the long term goal still, of doing the iconic Hawaiian Ironman.

Previous guest on the podcast, Matt White described Nige as one of the nicest guys you could meet, which I can confirm after our friendly and open chat. He rocked up to my beautiful Kombi “Ruby” and greeted me with a beaming smile and a warm handshake and this continued with a really open and warmly genuine kombisation.
